TDEE Calculator

Total Daily Energy Expenditure from BMR and activity level.

years

Worth Knowing

TDEE multiplies your resting BMR by an activity factor, and that factor is where most of the error lives — people routinely overestimate how active they are, which is why a sedentary desk worker who trains hard three times a week is usually closer to the 1.375–1.55 range than the 1.725 they'd like to pick. Because the activity multipliers jump in fairly coarse steps, treat your TDEE as a starting estimate, then adjust it up or down by a few hundred calories after tracking your actual weight trend for two to three weeks.

How to Use

  1. Enter Gender into the first field of the TDEE Calculator.
  2. Fill in the rest: Weight, Height, Age, Activity level.
  3. Your result appears instantly as you type — there's no submit button or page reload.
