ToolsDoc

About ToolsDoc

ToolsDoc is a free, all-in-one platform of online tools — calculators, unit converters, file utilities, image tools, text tools, developer tools, and generators — built to be fast, accurate, and clutter-free. Instead of bouncing between a dozen single-purpose sites, you can find the tool you need, use it, and get on with your day.

Why we built this

Most calculator and converter sites online are cluttered with pop-ups, require signing up, or bury the actual tool under paragraphs of filler text. We wanted the opposite: a site where the tool is front and center, results appear instantly as you type, and nothing gets in the way. ToolsDoc started as a small set of everyday calculators and has grown into a library covering math, health, finance, construction, engineering, file conversion, images, text processing, and developer utilities.

How the tools work

Every tool on ToolsDoc runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you type a number into a calculator, resize an image, or convert a file, the computation happens on your device — nothing is uploaded to a server or stored in a database. This keeps the tools fast (no round-trip to a backend) and keeps your data private by design. A small number of tools that need live external data — like currency and metal-price conversions — fetch current rates from a third-party rate provider, but never send your input values anywhere.

What you'll find here

  • Calculators— math, geometry, health & fitness, education, date & time, business & finance, US tax, construction, and engineering calculators.
  • Unit converters — length, weight, temperature, area, volume, speed, time, energy, power, pressure, data storage, currency, and more.
  • File tools — merge, split, compress, and convert PDF, Word, Excel, and CSV files directly in your browser.
  • Image tools — resize, compress, crop, convert, and edit images without installing software.
  • Text tools — counters, case converters, formatters, and text transformers for writers and editors.
  • Developer tools — JSON, regex, encoding, hashing, and formatting utilities for everyday development work.
  • Generators — passwords, QR codes, business cards, CVs, and more.

Our approach to accuracy

We build every calculator against the standard formulas used in its field — for example, BMI follows the WHO formula, and our US tax calculators are based on published IRS bracket data for the relevant tax year. That said, these tools are meant for quick, everyday estimates, not as a substitute for a licensed professional. See our Terms of Service for details.

No accounts, no clutter

You don't need to sign up, log in, or install anything to use ToolsDoc. Open a tool, use it, and leave — that's the whole experience. We keep advertising minimal and never require payment to access a tool.

Still growing

We're actively adding new calculators, converters, and utilities based on what people search for and ask us about. If there's a tool you wish existed, let us know through our Contact page — we read every suggestion.
